Pool Rules
  • In an emergency, CALL 911 on cell phone or on emergency phones.

  • Listen to Lifeguards.

  • Lifeguards are only on duty during specified hours and during pool parties. (See the pool schedule.)

  • When there are NO LIFEGUARDS ON DUTY, SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. We do not recommend swimming alone. If you are swimming alone, please inform the front desk employee on duty.

  • Members must register themselves and all swimming guests with the front desk. Guest fees should be paid or charged at that time.

  • When a lifeguard is on duty, all children must pass a standardized swim test before being allowed in the pool without an adult.

  • Horseplay, such as running, shoving, and screaming, is NOT ALLOWED.

  • Diving is NOT ALLOWED in the Outdoor Pool. Forward diving is allowed only in the deep end of the Indoor Pool. Flips are not allowed ever.

  • Adhere to all posted signs in the pool area.

  • No foreign matter other than life rings, small floatation device, ect. should be taken into the pool. Children’s floaties are not coast guard approved; adults must be in the water with their child if they wear floaties. DO NOT use a noodle to wrap around a child who doesn’t know how to swim. Inflatable rafts are NOT ALLOWED.

  • Dry off before reentering the building. Wet swim suits are NOT ALLOWED in the building.

  • Shirts and shoes MUST be worn inside the building at all times.

  • NO sitting or hanging on the lane ropes.

  • Persons with open sores or rashes or any communicable disease or infection are NOT ALLOWED in the pool.

  • Please bring your own towels for use at the pool.

  • NO non swimmers in the deep end of pools even when using a flotation device.

  • Lifeguards are instructed to send away from the pool area any persons who fail to observe all rules and regulations set forth herein. Continued violations of rules will be cause for suspension of pool privileges.

Prohibited Items
  • NO GLASS in or around pool areas.

  • NO GUM in or around pool areas.

  • NO FOOD in or around the water.

  • NO FLOATS OR RAFTS that can create an obstruction of the bottom of the pool.

  • Radios are NOT ALLOWED unless listened to with headphones.

With Children
  • SWIMMERS, POOR SWIMMERS, AND ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 14 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT, WHO REMAINS AT POOLSIDE AT ALL TIMES, WHETHER A LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY OR NOT. (IF YOUR CHILD CANNOT SWIM, YOU MUST BE IN THE WATER WITH THEM!)

  • Young children, when appropriate, MUST wear swim diapers and or swim pants. (You many purchase swim diapers at the front desk for $1.00.)

  • Under NO circumstance may anyone use the pool when the Club is closed unless it has been approved by Aquatics Director (pool rental extended hours only with lifeguards).

  • All children MUST conduct themselves in a mature manner when using the club’s facilities.

  • NO non swimmer in the deep end of pools even when accompanied by a parent and/or using a flotation device.

  • Lifeguards have the authority to require a swim test of any swimmer at any time. Tests are required at pool parties. Tests include: surface swim distance designated by the lifeguard and float/tread water long enough to prove ability.

Lightning and Thunder Policy

WE FOLLOW THE NLSI RULE OF A 30 MINUTE WAIT AFTER LIGHTNING/THUNDER.

Whirlpool Rules

  • Children under the age of 16 ARE NOT ALLOWED in the sauna or whirlpool under any circumstances.

  • Pregnant women ARE NOT ALLOWED in the sauna or whirlpool under any circumstances.

  • Proper swimming attire is required at all times in the spa areas.

  • The club recommends that you drink plenty of water while using the sauna and whirlpool. Dehydration occurs rapidly in extreme heat.

  • Please bring your own towels for the whirlpool.

  • Safe sauna and spa use should not exceed 20 minutes in length.

[The whirlpool is in operation on a seasonal basis and can be closed at the discretion of management without prior notice.]
